"Bug" is a very nice dark red jennet with great conformation. She has a stocky build with a wide front and rear end. She sells 'open' due to my having too many donkeys and the high prices for hay due to last summer's draught. She will make a fine addition to your group of brood jennets.

This halter fit Buster (my 30½" miniature donkey) and it still had extra adjustments yet. I have 2 halters. There is only one lead. The other lead the snap was broken. If someone had access to someone that works with leather it could be fixed with a new stud chain (which I have a new stud chain for the one that's broken). This is a fine show halter with all that silver. I'm selling them for $50 each. One has a lead, the other lead the snap is broken. There's no spring in the snap.

This would also fit a class A Miniature horse and some class B Miniature horses.

When he sheds he looks black/white. But as Summer went on he looks faded, so he looks Blk/Brn/White Spot.

This has been a very tough decision, but with regret I'm offering "Rocky" (Rearviews Red Rock) for your consideration. This guy has given me so many Top Quality Jennys and Breeding Quality Jacks crossed with my girls. They have a stocky build with wide fronts and rears, straight legs...just fantastic off spring! He has strengthened the Dark Sorrel Color in my herd also. I can hand breed him, but 90 % of the time he pasture breds my jennys. I hand breed the jenny 2 X's in a row then turn her loose with Rocky in his pasture. Then Rocky would breed the jenny when she wanted him to.

This fellow is very good with foals. He lets them jump up on him, bite him and he will even let a young Jack, that thought he wanted to breed the jenny in heat, butt right in front of Rocky and mount the jenny in heat. Rocky just stands there patiently until the "kid" decides to get down and go nurse on Mom. How many Breeding Jacks/Herd Sires will do that? This is a super great temperament in a breeding Jack. Rocky has excellent conformation. This fellow would be an asset to any herd. Don't pass on this fellow with a great temperament and excellent conformation and who produces "super quality" foals that mature to adults with the same qualities. If you like nice round butts, a stocky build, wide fronts and rears, straight legs......you want to add "Rocky" to your breeding program.

Rocky's color looks different in the photos above due to the sun going in/out behind clouds. Rocky's dark sorrel color darkens after he has finished shedding out which he hasn't done yet completely as of 7-23-06.

This guy is very correct in conformation. I think he might be taller than most breeders would like for a herd sire and for this reason only he was gelded. Griz will make an excellent cart donkey. He will probably mature at around 34". He is a very dark sorrel and very friendly. If you're looking for a nice show gelding....here he is! He's going to have the size to cover a lot of ground when pulling that cart (when he's old enough to pull a cart...at least 2 yrs. old). He's a very, very dark red like his Sire, KDL Cochese (Herd Sire page, for reference only). You'll love this gelding to train for performance classes at shows, to drive or for just loving him as a pet.

With great regret I've had to make this decision to offer Cochese for your consideration. I just have way too many breeding Jacks at this time. Cochese will hand or pasture breed. He' s a very gentle Jack when it comes to the jennys. He is also good with the foals, if you like to pasture breed. Any Jack that will let a 3 month old baby jack push him out of the way because the baby Jack thinks HE should be breeding the Jenny Cochese is attempting to breed.....IS a very gentle Jack to have around your Jennys and foals. Cochese just stood there and was very patient while the young Jack played around thinking HE was going to do the breeding. Cochese has a Black Sire and a Red Dam. He IS a very dark deep red just like the pictures show. He also has some different bloodlines in his pedigree which are not common, so you can outcross him with your jennys.
